This website is deliberately built lean. It sets no cookies, loads no fonts or scripts from third parties and uses no audience measurement tools.

The processing of personal data follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) applies, it is complied with as well.

3. Data arising from your visit

When this website is accessed, the web server records technical access data in log files. This usually includes the IP address, the date and time of access, the address requested, the referring link and information about the browser and operating system.

This data is technically necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. It is not used to analyse user behaviour and is not combined with other data. Retention is limited to what is necessary.

The website runs on a server in Germany provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestrasse 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, and administered by an appointed service provider. The server location is therefore within the European Economic Area.

5. Email

The email service for this domain is operated by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Geneva, Switzerland.

6. Contact form and enquiries

If you fill in the form, your name, company, email address and message are sent to my mailbox and handled there. They are not stored in a database. The same applies to enquiries you send me directly by email.

The legal basis is the preparation or performance of a contractual relationship as well as my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Your information is retained for as long as it is needed for handling the matter and for statutory retention obligations.

To guard against automated submissions the form contains a hidden field and a check on how long the entry took. No additional personal data is collected and no third-party services are embedded.

7. No cookies, no audience measurement

No cookies requiring consent are set. No analytics software, no tracking pixels and no social network buttons are embedded. Fonts are not loaded from third-party servers; the visitor's own device fonts are used.

8. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is passed on only where this is necessary to provide a service, where you have consented or where there is a legal obligation. Service providers processing data on my behalf are contractually bound accordingly.

9. Your rights

You have the right to information about the data processed about you, and to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may also object to processing and request the release or transfer of your data. Please contact the address given above.

In Switzerland you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Where processing falls under the GDPR, you may also contact a supervisory authority in your country of residence.

10. Security

This website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS. I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss and unauthorised access.
